This photo was taken a few months ago shortly after my Canon 20D arrived. It was late afternoon and I travelled to the commercial center of San Anselmo with the lens I don't seem quite able to make up my mind about. I wanted to see how it worked with the new camera. I was shooting at the full length of the lens, 135mm, at just about anything that appeared in my field of vision. When these boys appeared from the LoCoco's restaurant I trained my camera to see what they might offer. Suddenly the blond pointed up into the sky and I started snapping photos. The scene lasted only a minute or less but the delight in the boys' faces was wonderful to witness. I couldn't help but remember the words so often spoken in a Superman show... "Look, up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's SUPERMAN!!!"

I've no idea what the boy saw in the sky since my attention was focused on the two of them. In truth, it doesn't matter what they were looking at since the magic was right there, on the sidewalk! Enjoy...
