Photographer’s Note

Navajo sand stone has the colour contrast if you look at the different layers but the golden colour in this photo is ofcourse due to the Sun light. Strong Sun light at the backside of the stone makes this colourful view. This photograph was taken at Lake Powell area in Page. Lake Powell, created by the Glen Canyon Dam, is 186 miles long with more than 1,986 miles of shoreline. This is the second largest reservoir in North America.

I like this stone composition, the contrasts between these high stones with the blue sky is really very nice to see. Of course, the golden touch created thanks to the sun, is the main motive for the eyes attraction.
Just one thing, the top left corner is too bright, and to my opinion, it would had been better to try to avoid it, to get a better composition.
