Mt. Hood Oregon Photo

Photographer’s Note

My first posting here on TE in several months. My son, Philip, has been hounding me to post some pictures so here we go. My wife, Karen, and I went on a train ride that came fairly close to Mt. Hood. It was very beautiful that day as you can see here. Mount Hood can be seen from much of Oregon and Washington and is one of several picturesque mountains in the Cascade range.

Hie Tim, long time no see my friend. I liked the way you add the gnarled branch and the silhouette of the tree on the left to frame Mount Hood.Pretty dramatic and atractive. I'm with Philip. He did well in getting on your back to keep on posting.

This reminds me of several Mount Hood photos I've posted. I even remember the curvy tree you've captured in this shot. I love hiking up here in the summer! Your shot frames the mountain well. Very nice color and lighting.
