I lost my new cell phone for this photo :( When we were passing through the Joseph D. Grant County Park, I saw this picture perfect landscape & jumped out of the car to take this picture. In my excitemet to shoot this Californian beauty, I forgot to pick my cell phone from the top of the car; where I left it temporarily while taking the picture- DUH..! So, here is my expensive photo.

[Later we drove all the way back to the park to search for the phone, when I realized I lost it. I never found the phone though]

Joseph D. Grant County Park is the largest of Santa Clara County's regional park and recreation areas in the San Francisco Bay Area. The landscape is characteristic of the east foothills of the Santa Clara Valley with grasslands and majestic oak trees.

As part of the park''s tradition and history, cattle grazing currently takes place in some areas, and is monitored under a resource management plan. This 9,553 acre park includes some of the County''s finest open space resources, as well as rich environmental, cultural and recreational assets.

Technical - Increased color saturation and hue a bit. Pls critique.

i sympathize w/ u. many of us have unpleasant stories to tell. we r putting ourselves in a compromising situation or danger just to get a good photo. but that's the way it is. just be careful next time. so cheer up because u receive appreciation for not passing a chance to grab this postcard perfect photo.

Hai Sunil, a very colorful and nice shot. Sad to hear about your phone.

We say: "You can cry only with one eye" because if from one side you lost the precious cell phone from the other side you took a splendid picture. Think if the photo wasn't good: in this case you had to cry with both eyes!
The thin red line of leaves seems to sign the border between two different world: the orderly plain and the anarchic hills (because of the placing of trees).

Lovely photo with different layers of vegetation.
I like how there's just a bit of sky visible.
Saturation is overdone though. In my one opinion, there's too much of it when one can guess it.

Hi Sunil
Wonderful coloured compo. Beautiful landscape. good shot!

hallo Sunil, sad for your phone, but happy for this very coloured pic! the red trees are the center of sight. i dare cut the pic a little on the upper area. regards Alex

Beautiful shot.I like the composition and point of view.Good colors and contrasts.I like it.Good light and sharpness.Very good job!

Hi Sunil,
I am sorry about your cell phone, if it is any consolation this is a beautiful magical shot, it looks like some kind of fantasyland, the colours, shapes and vegetation are wonderfully captured.
Regards
Daniel

This is a beautiful image Sunil. The red trees seem to have an order but all the other trees are haphazard in the landscape. May be a bit over-saturated but still a good shot.
Sorry about your mobile (UK term)

Hi Sunil,
a photo is better as 1.000 words... but a cell phone can transmit millions of world... even photos!!
Very nice place, i understand your hurry to take the photo!
Nice compo, the sequence of different trees, colors, lines & curves compose a very effective image.
For the post. proc, sorry, but for me the saturation & Hue are a little bit excessive, the result is not natural... but perhaps this wasn't your goal!
If you look at the upper right corner, even the sharpness algorithm design a white line as contour of the trees.
So, as image it's of very strong impact, but not represent a 'real' situation.
Please don't bother for my critique, my it's only a personal opinion! ;D))
ciao, Giorgio

Interesting story, sorry about your mobile phone. Picturesque postcard, color could have been adjusted a little. Great photo Sunil.

The photo is spectacular, though a little bit too saturated for me, the sky in the right corner lost their color completely. Beautiful nonetheless.
Regards,
Maya

Hi Sunil. I like the details in this picture and how everything is nice and sharp. The front bit of grass may be a bit bright, but other than that, lovely composition. Sorry about your phone though. ~Amber

Hi Sunil,
This is very nice and even though you lost your phone this image is a great reward.
Fantastic.tfs
Dave.

Hello Sunil!
Bits and pieces of sky peeping out on top of the picture distract a bit. However, it is a wonderful picture in terms of its overall impact. I love this landscape.

Hi Sunil,
I'm sorry for your cell phone!
Anyway you caught this image very well and the wonderful colours made it a special one.
Maybe a little less of saturation was even fine, but that's just nitpiks.
A smile
Luca
