Photographer’s Note
This wasteland is the famous Mt. St. Helens. If you don't know Mt. St. Helens is an active volcano that erupted in 1980 and totally destroyed itself. The eruption was so huge that ash from the eruption fell on the other side of the world. Although the mountain is recovering and making great progress, there is still much recovering left to do. In the background you can see Spirit Lake. It is 1/3 covered in floating logs from the eruption, and logs is all you can see in this picture. I hope you enjoyed the picture and learned something in the progress. God Bless!

Great work! Its a very moody shot- I like it a lot. (Oh, I rhymed again- I do that sometimes on accident:) The person looks like a giant sitting on a mountain- cool perspective trick. Wonderful job!

I simply like your POV. A very effective shot. The B&W is a good choice.

This is a great photo which captures the sense of somone worried for a sick, recovering being (considering land being alive as it is). Good use of exposure as well as skilfully composed frame.
My complements!
