Photographers Note
One of the favorite beach activities on Martha's Vineyard (at least among those young enough to not care or know better) is jumping or diving off the bridge on the Edgartown Oak Bluffs Road. This is the bridge that connects the waters of Nantucket Sound with Sengekontacket Pond (try saying that real fast ten times). It's also the same bridge that the shark "swam" under in the movie Jaws.
The bridge isn't terribly high, maybe ten or twelve feet, so I was able to maintain focus all the way down to the water as I followed them when they jumped (with my lens, not my body of course). I snapped maybe four shots of this guy before he entered the water, and happened to get this one just as his fingers touched the water.
I cropped it a bit, then adjusted the levels, and sharpened and resized the image before uploading.
