Beautiful location for a shot, excellent warm light and composition. On the negative side, the image lacks sharpness and the bright sky on the right is quite distracting. The result of over-polarization I reckon?

Although a bit blurry (probably for scan issue) the result is spectacular. I guess there is a good post-processing behind that scene but the whole compo and scene is absolutely great ! In fact, it almost looks like a painting. Congrats Michael !

I really like this image. Unfortunately i did not get to enter Yosemite due to the flash floods in May. I love the vibrant colours.

Beautiful location, well captured. The reflections are great, especialy on the right side where the reflection on the water looks a little darker.

Definitely, Yosemite parc is one of the most beautifull place on earth. I like the reflexion of el capitan in the water...
I like the colors also.

Magnifique vue du Yosemite National Park. Très bon résultat pour cette photo ancienne (scannée). Superbe réflection. Elle est nette, elle devait être d'une remarquable définition. Les couleurs sont très belles.

Hi MIchael, Yosemite Park is a "must" for a photographer and I hope to go there one day.
I tell you what I like and not:
I like:
- colors
- composition
- polarization
- point of view
- DOF
I like less:
- sky (a little overexposed on the right)
- noise (scanning?) ù

Bonjour Michael,
tu nous rends ce magnifique endroit encore plus envoûtant avec ces couleurs fantastiques. Domage quie la photo manque un peu de netteté, mais le cadrage et le POV sont esxcellents.
J'aime aussi ce reflet dans ce petit plan d'eau peu profond.
Bien vu et capturé.

The purity of the water in the foreground srtikes me. It provides amazing reflections and a symetry that balances the composition very well. The background is well defined by a good aperture. Very well done !

Hi Michael - the scenery is awesome, wonderful reflection with enough detail on the submerged stones. I'm sure it looked much better in print, I will add it to favorites not because of image quality but for the quality of the work.

I went to Yosemite more than 10 years ago. Your picture captures perfectly how I like to remember it and it keeps me longer to go back.

That the sky to the right is a little overexposed doesn't seem to matter to me, the refections in the lake and the colors of the trees and rocks are all I seem to notice.

Stunning picture! I really like the bright colours you got with this. The reflection is also a great touch, especially when you can see the rocks under the water. Wow, this is a real winner!

Hi Michael,
This is one of my favorite landscape because the point of view is astounding.
The colors are bright and the contrast between the green and the blue is very nice.
I also like the reflections in the lake.
I suppose that a polarising filter has been used because we can see the rocks under the water.

suberb shot, great light and colour tone, but some graininess and slight over-exposure in the sky (a circular polarising filter would sort that nicely)

Obviously this is a print. You have a lovely angle Michael. You are low enough and probably in the stream to get the whole view of the meadow with the overhanging rockfaces in the background. Lovely work Michael. I really liked the bright summer feel of this work.

Excellent POV and composition. The reflections, trees and meadow are fantastic. The sky and the rocks are a little bit to overexposed and grainy.

Beautiful shot Michael, in every respect. I love the inclusion of the water--it makes it feel like a much more lush and fertile area. There is quite a bit of noise in the picture, so I ran it through Neat Image and posted a workshop. Otherwise, fantastic job.
