Photographer’s Note
The Tracy Arm Fjord is all about incredible mountains and green glacier waters. With a number of shots from here in my repretoire, it's a challenge to find an original name for each one.
As seen from an enormous cruise ship, something is lost in the grandeur of the scene. No matter how huge it looks, one is suddenly shocked when a point of reference comes along. A passing 30' boat looks like a toy out here. A grizzly on the shore is a pinprick that barely comes to life when magnified through binoculars. Likewise, the chunks of ice we see in this shot are actually icebergs.

Well that was a good choice for this image! Beautiful colors. I love the little bits of ice in the water. I just saw the Imax on Alaska last night...spectacular place!

Good configuration of the colors. I like the way in which the mountains are truncated, to form U in the center. Good composition.
