Wildflowers give Death Valley a yellow dusting during the spring of 2005. It was a very unusual year with an abundance of rainfall in one of the driest places on Earth. The result was an amazing display of wildflowers where one generally expects barren desolation.
Sorry about the size of the photo. I tried to upload it bigger, but filesize exceeded TE limits. Have to learn more about the art and craft of image compression :)

Nice picture. Good composition and colours. A bit disturbing border.
Adobe Photoshop 7 allows size reduction without pain - you choose the Tool "Save to Web" and reduce the largest side of the picture to the desired number of pixels (for TE it is 800 pixels). Then you choose the JPEG compression (in terms of percentage) that you want to avoid overpassing the maximum of Kbytes (200 in TE). You finish, saving the work with another name, something as "MyPicture_Web.jpg".

dunno about the others, but i like the border, it gives an indication of the film used...fujichrome velvia i suspect, and one of my favourite colour slide films (provia being my favourite...kudos to eugene for that!). but what i really like in this is the scale of this photo and the shifts in colours.
