Photographer’s Note
This is a "co-production" between me and Benno which means that I saw the "picture" and he made the "click" ... so I pushed him onto the tracks (typical woman?) and he did the shot. But he survived (lucky me) and I think the picture came out wonderful.
This is so impressive out here ... no sounds nothing. Just again nature and every so hour maybe a train who might disturb the silence. The skies are immense in Montana ... "Big Sky Country" is what it says on the number plates. How true.

Beautiful picture- the colors are so vivid. The train tracks give a sense of adventure. Such wide open spaces!

hi Barbara,
very nice point of view and perspective. I think you have dedicated a good amount of space to foreground.
If I were to make a suggestion, I would say some slight increase on the saturation plus contrast, or even some color tune towards more yellow in the foreground would make this even more pronounced.
nice work!

There are a number of things I like about this photograph , the clouds and the blue sky , the rolling green hills , the winding track and your low perspective . It works extremely well . It is a postcard setting . Jim

Hello, Barbara!
What an interesting compostion! The low point of view gives a lot of dynamic to this picture. I must say, that lot of my pictures are taken by the induce of my wife - She finds a theme and I take the picture. She has great sense of the observation, I take the shots... it goes that way very often.
Perfectly seen, perfectly done!

Grzegorz

Hi Barbara,
Lovely depth to this trip along the rails to the distant hills and vivid blue sky which contrast wounderfully with the beautiful intricate clouds. Excellent lighting baths this landscape in gentle soothing shadows.
Regards, Tom
P.S. Will be treking up to Vermont tomorrow to get some winter shots.
