Photographer’s Note

Athalia, Ohio is located on the Ohio river just north Huntington, West Virginia. We were visiting friends who live on a small farm atop a small mountain. To get there you need to drive up a very steep, gravel road filled with gulleys and potholes. Even in a jeep or four wheel drive vehicle you can't go very fast. The dogs seem to know this.

Very Nice! The whole scene reminds me of laid-back, rural life.

The dogs are the best part. Drowsing without a care in the world. It wouldn't surprise me if they even moved if the occasional car went by!
