Photographer’s Note
I took this during my bicycle trip while riding along blood alley (Hwy 46), the road that passes West-East through Southern California, also the road that James Dean died on. It was hot and dry and there were rolling yellow hills everywhere. As I was taking a snack break on a side road outside of Shandon, I spotted this flag just standing in the middle of a field criss crossed by irrigation pipes.

Serwus Leon !
For me it's just perfect composition. With excellent light, superb colors and nice details.
Patriotic and very American (in positive meaning)view. It could be a cover for Springsteen's music - alternative for "Born to run", for example. That's why I like it too.
Very well done.
Best wishes!
