[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lying to the west of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon park is the Hermit Rest route. This route is only accessible by shuttle bus that departs half-hours before sunrise and an hours after sunset.

In terms of colors, dusk is the right time to see the red glow of the grand canyon red limestone. The duration of the glow is typically quite short. You have about 15 mins when the stones are at their peak of color.

And you seem to have taken the most of advantage of those 15 minutes of perfect light.

This is so very bold and the colors are jsut gorgeous, very well done. I love the layers in the rock and how well defined they are.

The place is wonderfull and the colours too

Many thanks for sharing

Hi Thien, this is breathtaking beautiful! If I ever get there, I'll make sure I'll catch that bus, and morning after morning if necessary.
Beautiful colors and a very nice composition.

I love the textures shapes and colours of these rocks, beautifully captured.
cheers, david

like a poster, Thien, this is simply breath-taking. Good DOF and sharpness. The mood is good too.

This is a perfect shot, to me: It makes me want to be nowhere but there. It is almost as if you could reach out and touch it; the sharpness, contrast and color are all perfectly balenced. I would not be surprised if you planned the exact time of day to shoot this; you really captured the essence of the Grand Canyon and the allure of the southwest's natural, fiery beauty.

Great shot! I love the tight telephoto crop. The reds look great with an almost purple shade in the background. This is one of the best Grand Canyon photos I've seen on TE.
Congrats,
Ryan
