Photographer’s Note

Here is another angle of the boat harbor from a different angle on a clear day, May 2 rather than the rainy day on June 2.

This is the most northly end of Prince William Sound. The majority of these boats are personally owned boats used for fishing. All summer the boats go out into the sound to catch halibut and salmon. The locals use the fish caught for substinance. Deep frying and making jerky are popular for salmon, while deep frying is the preference for halibut. Rarely does anything go to waste. Others prefer to catch and release while merely enjoying the art of fishing.

I adjusted the contrast, sharpened one time in Photoshop and filtered once through NeatImage.
