Wilkes-Barre Riverview, a photo from Pennsylvania, Northeast

Photographer's Note

Here's a look at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania from across the Susquehanna River. I suppose I need to do a Susquehanna River theme, having done a few shot of this very long river as it bends through Pennsylvania.

We look south in this morning view. You can see the white domed courthouse on the right and many of the office buildings shown in my last posts.

PP: RAW to TIFF, then PS increased contrast & color sat.

Beautiful landscape Matt.
Now in this one I'm able to see the white dome, very sharp and clear.
Nice colors, very good composition.

Hi Matt,
Good composition. I like the way the bridge spans across the frame with the and the riverwith the city at the distance. But i felt some improvements could still be done on this shot. So i have tried my hand on a small WS. Hope you dont mind.

Nice composition. I like how the river leads the eye past the bridge to the city.. also the contrast between the clear foliage colors along the shoreline and the smoggy distance.. Good shot, Matt.

Hi Matt,
I like the beautiful hazy colors in this picture. It makes it a picture with a nice, lazy atmosphere.
I have no need for the workshop. Maybe later one the day when the sun gets stronger nature shows us another mood.

Exception for the buildings of the city, the landscape looks like an area of the edge of the Loire in France. It is a very good composition.

By the besr photos of a gallry, I am always there Matt.
Here for the good POV starting a perspective by the full width of the stream to the bridge and the layers of the buildings and the misty mountains to horizont and sky.
