Photographer’s Note
A seaport in the Northeast was home to one of the largest shipyards during the early to mid-1800s. These tools were forged by the blacksmith for the whaling ships that sailed from this port in Mystic, Connecticut. The word Mystic may have come from the Native American word for a sea water inlet.

Kathy, Very nice close-up display of the old chains and assorted fasteners. I like the rust colored chain in the foreground and the prominately placed black ring to the right. The warm brown tone of the wood brings it all together very nicely.

Very nice detail, especially for the light over the metal objects. is the focus that is a problem, considering you had to use a 3.5. good. regards Alex
