Photographer’s Note
I wish I could tell you the more meaningful “Road to Mt. Rushmore” – how to get your face caved on the mountain. Unfortunately, I don’t know that way. This photo provides a simple drive way to see some the past-president’s faces. At the winding road, a president is looking after you.
Mt. Rushmore is famous by the mountain sculpture of four U.S. present’s faces. There are a number of posts for the faces: such as Visiting the Presidents by nwoehnl; Presidents in Blue by ppetretta, and Mount Rushmore closer by alros as well as many photos over the internet.

Hi Wes,
That's nice, this famous place from a different angle. I recognized immediately Mt. Rushmore, but saw it never a picture from this POV. I like that very much. Not the expected, but still the recognition. The picture shows us that even the life of a president is passing by.

you have a truly excellent and unique POV here. I have been there and don't remember that road or the view for that matter. Looks like the pine trees could use a little sharpening. I do like the road and the sign as it makes for a good composition. good note and good shot!

The sign is almost pointing at the president. Maybe it would be possible to try a POV so that it would point at him? ;) Anyway, nice shot.

Hi Wes,
I think you have here an original PoV to present this famous place, espite some overexposure on the right rock the view is pleasant with a perspective traced by the truning rock and yes the sign pointing at the face is a very funny detail !
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Wes,
The different colourtints of the great rocks on the background, also the road with the curving beneath give nice depth, the a few green on the rightside make the picture very nice.
Well done!
John.

Original POV. Changing from the traditional photo of Mount Rushmore. The smal road panel gives a good idea of the sizes of the mountain and of the sculpture. Well done.
Thanks for sharing

First a nice road bend picture and then you discover the head. Very funny!
For some reason I would like to loose the branch to the right and some sky. I tried it...

Hi Wes! Thanks for showing us a different view of Mt. Rushmore, this is a very unique shot (is it taken from the car?); now we know what's like on the 'other side'. I just think a little more sharpness will make the photo better, IMHO. But overall, a very good composition! Thanks for sharing! rgds.
