Photographer’s Note
I took this just as the sun was starting to set, from my front yard. The cloud at the top of Mount Defiance looked almost like smoke, or an ash plume like on nearby Mt. Saint Helens. There is a radio tower on the top of this mountain and this photo clearly shows the "skull" on the far peak, and the "rabbit" on the nearer one.
Many use this as a Mount Hood trainer since the elevation gain is relatively the same on this mountain less than half the size of Hood. Some even think it's a bit harder than Hood's summit.
I've climbed to the top of this mountain twice, all 4960 feet if I remember correctly, my poor aching muscles sure remember!! For a detailed account of the Mount Defiance Hike.

The picture is nice but I find that there's too much of the empty sky. I feel that if you had shifted the angle lower you'd have caught more of the street, which would give a sense of scale and perspective, and less of empty sky.
