Aww, geez…where did I drop those keys, the wife is gonna’ kill me?!! hehe I can only surmise that’s what he was looking for, or perhaps a poker chip worth more than his mortgage!? Whatever the case, it must be something of great importance to have the sonar gear along side searching for it. Maybe he just stumbled out of the casino in a drunken stupor after a long night of gambling and wanted to freshen up. Whatever the case, it’s fun to imagine the possibilities. :)
In all actuality, this was one of the Bellagios hotel technicians out doing some routine maintenance on the water fountains…I just happened to catch this pose. It’s an immense pool that lies in front of the hotel, but as you can see, very shallow.
Nothing much else to relay here, I just thought I’d try and be a little devious with the composition, attempting to make this scene appear more like a lake. Since I didn’t take the time to walk out in front of the hotel for a full view, I’ve included a Google image (WS) of the fountains to give you and idea of the scope and scale.
Thanks for stopping by.

He is still searching for Jimmy Hoffa !
Une belle image saisie sur le moment. Pour le reste on peut imaginer tout ce que l'on veut. Espérons qu'il trouvera.

An intriguing shot this and one right up your street with a hidden motive inside it. Must admit I thought, at first, it was a dastardly crime scene, what happens in Vegas…… Made me smile. Hey Big Guy, why have you hidden away the amazing panorama shot in the workshop? Really surprised me, unless you are going to post another, because it is an absolute beauty mate.
Ah! But then in a Doh! Moment…. I read the last line of your notes - you should have walked out and got that shot too - shame on you! :-P Could you have not paddled across!!
Scorchio here at the moment (77 F) - even got factor 40 on my dome. Winter for Feeenixites I guess.

You made me lough when red this note, simulated a play - but merely a technician doing maintenance.
I like the fun when looking and enjoy this pic.

Hi Jason, your note are very funny...ehhehe...an excellent way to comment the work of this man in the big swimming pool,an original situation caught in an excellent quality,it's nice to see something to different! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

I guess what we don't know is that moments after you took this, a huge green tentacle rose from the water, and pulled the man into the sea in a storm of bubbles.....Or perhaps that's just my unhealthy fascination with sea monsters, but I blame you for leaving it to our imaginations :)
I like what you have done here, and it is always fun to try to interpret a photo, and what is actually going on. I have to say, your note made me smile at the idea of trying to find keys, but it does raise the question of where DO fishermen keep their keys?
I guess its probably an obvious answer but being a true blooded land lubber, its a mystery to me.
Tis almost Friday, wishing you a great weekend!
All the best

In an hour 2014 FIFA World Cup in Bresil will begin***
Not at all a fan of soccer, only during the Cup and... when Agentina have some chance, I believe we will be at the last match against Brasil, lets watch
You made a good joke, I believe it was a lake deep in the desert, the rocks and the man´s attitude
So you catch me
Then I noticed it was just a wide big pool ( WS) these hotel are made for hundred or thousands of people
This scene reminds me of the one seen cleaning the coins at Fontana de Trevi of Rome
Capture original, where I like the color of the water and the little waves
Pas les bleus, mais...

the fountains are so large, they could also be called an artificial lake. I like very much how you've isolated this part through an effective framing that has eliminated the urban aspect of this place and has given it a more natural feel. As a workplace, it looks pleasant, I'm sure the technician would enjoy seeing himself amid so lovely, metallic reflections. Movement and textures are delightful and I also like the stories you've invented:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Your work shop picture is very nice, maybe is these man on looking to the evening or the morning when his comes of the casino.
Good composition, good presentation too.
Colours and sharpness make these picture attractive.
Very well done, TFS.

I like your intro note. Without it I may be confused about content of this photo, open lake or just large pool? It is part of water fountain. If this would be in Rome and not LV I'd guess that the man is collecting coins which people throw in (see Fountain de Trevi). Anyhow, nice POW and excellent colourful reflections.
P.d. Try to get it into horizontal....

Only the WS picture show us a view from Las Vegas
On the main picture you should crop a part of the background to give more importance to the main subject action

I am sure you saw these fountains at night. If you didn't, that would be a good excuse for you to go back.
Until I came to the Bellagio part, I was betting on fireworks setup.

Ha-ha! Funny note, you are just a stories writer! ;)
I think he is working at the moment, although you are right, it could be after visit to casino too.
Good title, it reminds me some song or movie, but I am not sure...
have you got some news about your next trip?
