Photographer's Note

Highway 395 rounds south to north parallel to the Eastern Sierra Mountains. An unusual environment of sagebrush desert in Owens Valley then the Sierra mountains rising to the east 11,000, 12,000 and 13,000 feet above sea level. The prevailing water clouds from the ocean traveling eastward drop most of their water content as they climb up the west slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Leaving little for Owens Valley.

Many moons ago I came her to tent camp on my honeymoon. Reckon it was a mistake because she divorced me within three years. Should have done the typical honeymoon in a Vegas hotel?
