Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam, is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Arizona and Nevada. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Its construction was the result of a massive effort involving thousands of workers, and cost over one hundred lives. The dam was controversially named after President Herbert Hoover. (From Wikipedia)

"Warm" lights over the dam, mildly reflected over the water.
Perfect exp. length, as no excessive bulbs-glare collected.
Impressive location and fine shot on.

Mystic night view of Hoover Dam, the water towers dominating the image in their deep red glow.
Worker safety on public works is much more important today, and even one death would be unacceptable.

An impressive dam and also a very impressive picture with the lights reflected in the water. The light sky makes good silhouettes of the background mountains.
