A similar shot to the one I posted yesterday, but this time processed differently, as a silhouette in B&W. Mesut pointed out on yesterday's that it resembled a B&W anyway.
The shots I was taking here were all actually closer to silhouette than not; I did a lot more PP with yesterday's in order to bring out some detail on the figures. Here I just enhanced the contrast a bit with a B&W treatment.
The shot is of what I assume to be a father and son just finishing playing hockey on the frozen Horn Pond in Woburn, MA. I arrived, sadly, too late to see them playing.

What a nice picture of your son Henry as intro, almost one year old!
Your both picture are almost the same, these picture gives more details with the two dark silhouetts of the people.
Perspective and depth are perfect taken.
Excellent composition, nice captured.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,

I prefer this one!
Yesterday one is somehow too simple!

I like the patterns on the ice which create a pleasing background to the main subject of the photo.
Even though you missed them play you still captured strong and interesting silhouettes.

Simple, very simple but also very effective in monochrome. Composition and placement of the silhouetted persons in stark contrast is just right. Good use of leading lines from the foreground and soft focus in the distance. Excellent capture, TFS

shots in sepia are considered relative to art
I liked this idea with the line on the
surface of the ice
welldone for playing hockey on the
frozen Horn Pond in Wobum
good use of leading lines

Your B&W treatment has reduced the shot to its textures and contrasts. I like that Andrew. The figures add interest to the patterns made by the horizontal lines and I think you have placed them very cleverly within the frame.

Hello Andrew, I saw similar scenes on the river in Latvia - the fishermen with big screw drivers sirring on ice. I wonder if the really catch something or just like sitting in the cold? Nice black and white shot with the dark silhouettes on the silvery ice surface.

I really like your choice of a grainy B&W here which emphasises the silhouetted men and the wonderful textures in the ice. It also gives us a sense of climate, I'm actually shivering, despite it being hot as Hades in this part of the world :) Excellent Thirds framing too.
