I was fortunate to be in Zion National Park when a snow storm arrived and left a dusting of snow at higher elevations. The next day the sun's warmth started melting the snow, and water started flowing. This image is from the Emerald Pools hiking trail.
The Emerald Pools trail is a popular hike starting across from the huge Zion Canyon Drive parking lot, just south of the Zion Lodge. It is a half mile saunter to the Lower Emerald Pools, and another half mile saunter to the Upper Pools.

The glimpse of blue sky is a very fine colour against the red rocks. The streaming water is perfectly positioned in the picture. A very beautiful view!

This is another lovely picture from Zion. The hiking trails really can give spectacular views and so many people just pass through without exploring them. I love the way that you have caught the flowing water and the wonderful colour of the sandstone.
Kind Regards, Ann

From the title I guess that the pools didn't quite fit into the same picture. And your note suggests that there isn't usually this much, or at all, water here. It's not the wildest waterfall. But it is beautiful thanks to all those red rocks. Good angle. Triangle of blue sky adds good colour contrast.

without the water tumbling over the rocks there would not have been the same impact and interest so I guess that the melting snow worked in your favour on this occasion.
The warm colour of the rocks is most attractive.Nicely done.
All the best, Les.

It's a bit funny to read that someone was fortunate to be somewhere at the moment of a snow storm.
But I understand that otherwise you would have missed these falls. I guess that Utah (or this part of the state) is like what you wrote of Arizona: mostly very dry but after a rain or snow storm you can witness waterfalls.
A well cropped picture, beautiful view upwards and fantastic red and steep rock faces.
Best regards, Paul

Wow, what a magnificent natural wonder you have brought us. The colours are so natural and yet so vibrant. I like the vertical frame which emphasises the height and power of these falls. Well done Rayster, thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the red rock canyon which two waterflows are flowing down. It's a nature's great creation whenever it may see.

Another picture of this fantastic place
Very good sharp picture
If I was there I have the possibility to make a stitch of several pictures to include more field of the fall
