The Benedum Center was built as the Stanley Theater in 1927 at a cost of $3 million and opened on February 27, 1928. On September 25, 1987, after a $43 million restoration was completed, the Stanley re-opened as the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. It was named in honor of the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, which made the largest contribution toward the restoration of the theater. The proud cornerstone of Pittsburgh's Cultural District, this 2,800-seat Benedum Center for the Performing Arts is home to the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Pittsburgh Dance Council, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and the Pittsburgh Opera, as well as first-run Broadway touring productions.

The wideness of the hall is giving depth to the composition. The presence of the people is adding life to the scene. The point of view is showing the détails and the colours of the hall. It is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

You're capturing well the inside of this theater by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see gorgeous interior with mable pillars, the chandeliers hung from the ceiling and the ceiling of dome style. It seems that Americans have the nostalgia for the good old days to the classic Europe construction when I see this construction. By the way, many visitos gathering to lobby draw out a good impact.

Lavishly adorned, Murat, but a magnificent styled hall.
Great set of chandaliers hang under the beautifully painted ceiling, and a typical double stairscase and a balcony - reminds me some building I saw in the USA in diff. placed.
Managed well the mild light, and good depth to other side.
Have a nice weekend,
