Ice-carver Richard Bubin was commissioned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to build the "ice labyrinth" for the 20th anniversary of the city's annual Downtown New Year's Eve party. Mr. Bubin and his team of about a dozen helpers built the glistening maze of 325-pound blocks, and its two7-foot-tall ice thrones, in about two days. Right next to the labyrinth was a stage made of ice and ice sculptures which hosted a fire show. The labyrinth will be broken down and reassembled at Boyce Park to remain as long as the cold weather lasts.

this is a very intriguing and attractive scene. I like very much your point of view that includes some spectators, the audience for whom the dancers are performing, the juxtaposition is great. I also love the colours and textures, especially the different shapes and hues displayed by the ice. The flames and the movement are very enjoyable too. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Good POV chosen to include the spectators. The combination of fire and ice is unique. The color of ice and the flames present warm and cold color contrasts. I like the motion blur on some of the dancers as well it is adding drama to the composition. Thanks for sharing a nice moment captured.

You're capturing well this attraction by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see ice sculptures on stage and fire dancing show in New Year's Eve. It's a good entertainment for citizen and the looks like this stage.
