Hi, there! I am going to the US with my photos. This is view of the Chrysler building from the Empire State building.
The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco style skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue. At 1,046 feet (319 m), the structure was the world's tallest buildings for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931. It is still the tallest brick building in the world, albeit with an internal steel skeleton. After the destruction of the World Trade Center, it was again the second-tallest building in New York City until December 2007, when the spire was raised on the 1,200-foot (365.8 m) Bank of America Tower, pushing the Chrysler Building into third position. In addition, The New York Times Building, which opened in 2007, is exactly level with the Chrysler Building in height. Both buildings were then pushed into 4th position, when the under construction One World Trade Center surpassed their height.
The Chrysler Building is a classic example of Art Deco architecture and considered by many contemporary architects to be one of the finest buildings in New York City. In 2007, it was ranked ninth on the List of America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects. It was the headquarters of the Chrysler Corporation from 1930 until the mid-1950s. Although the building was built and designed specifically for the car manufacturer, the corporation did not pay for the construction of it and never owned it, as Walter P. Chrysler decided to pay for it himself, so that his children could inherit it.

the "icon" of New York, here presented from really stunning perspective and I think at the best time.
Could it be something more captivating than the night in the Big Apple with all these lights till the horizon?
Have a nice sunday

Excellent vertical night view of my favorite NY architecture, with the geometric steeple accentuated by lights, then surrounded by a forest of lights everywhere.
I personally identify with the Art Deco style which is prevalent in Los Angeles.

My favorite building makes a great Christmas tree. :-) I never get tired of seeing the Chrysler Building, and it look even more amazing shining against the dark night sky. I can also see the Queensboro Bridge in the background. Very nice! :-)

I love the name of this image, oh Chrysler tree, oh Chrysler tree, how I love the little Chrysler tree :) Haha, nice festive touch to this lovely image of one of the world icons of tall buildings. You've done an excellent job in catching its unique art deco design, and placing it against the lights of the city which shows its height up really nicely. I love a good skyscraper image, and this is a festive beauty!
Thanks as always and Merry Christmas!

What a site, and sight! :) I think most people would agree, this is probably the most attractive and well liked buildings in NYC, even more so than the famed ESB. A beautiful night shot, which greatly enhances the art deco design in lights. So many lights in fact, a never ending stream in this city that never sleeps. Impossible not to appreciate this view. Beautiful! A very Merry Christmas to you as well my friend.
All the best. My warm and friendliest wishes,

Many great pictures to choose from in your gallery, but my eyes went straight for the bright lights of the Big Apple this evening. :-)
This is a striking photo from the top of the Empire Building, with the Chrysler Building in an ideal location, roughly 1/3 from one side. The glittering lights are eye catching, especially with the catenary of the suspension bridge "Queensboro" seen illuminated.
All the best,from BCN
