Albuquerque's Bio Park is a beautiful blend of Nature's flora & fauna with human art & fantasies. It has a zoo, aquarium and this scene is within the botanical gardens.
These chrysanthemums, commonly called "mums" because it is a difficult word to spell and annunciate, are one of my favorite flowers. Mums are very hardy, handling temperature extremes, and being perennials go to sleep in the winter and rejuvenate in the summer. They bloom in late summer and autumn, which helps to vary with spring blooming flower species. I have more mums in my garden than any other flowering plant, and am enjoying one specie's flowers here in late November.

Fresh yellow and white flowrs on display, Ray, and good view with the park ground behind.
The red-head figure smle at you, like a real person was standing there, pipping through the velvet/purple unique plants.
Lovely photo. Have a nice Thanksgiving weekend,

I'm familiar with these flowers, here in Ireland they sell them planted in small flower pots, and they are called potmums. Like you say, a lot easier to say than the real name! This is a fine floral display too, perfect to brighten up a grey November day. The bright orange guardian at the top could only make one smile too.

that's a piece of a beautiful garden too:)
Very bright and happy, that jolly doll adds to the impression. I like the way you captured the chrysanthemums in the foreground, they're wonderful flowers. I've been enjoying them too lately, freshly installed in huge vases near one of Moscow's railway stations - great sight here in late November. I wonder if I see them tomorrow now that the temperature's dropped below zero:)
Thanks and have a great Sunday!

This is a nice and colorful flower arrangement. I wonder if something con be done about the lower right corner which is suffering from overexposure. The Smart Neutral Density tool in the PhotoTools 2.6 add-on to Photoshop improved it a bit.
