This relatively new skyscraper looks directly over the Greenway, which is a swath of land that was created when an overhead highway was torn down about 20 years ago. That project, the Big Dig, cost an incredible amount of money, and resulted in placing a main artery through the city underground. One of the results was a green space that extends almost the full length of the city north to south where the highway used to be.
The city promised that there would be no development on the greenway, and amazingly, that has actually come to pass. It is a nice space filled with trees and walkways.

You have given us a very informative note and also a very fine and striking photograph by way of illustration!
The low viewpoint looking upwards with a wide lens has given this image incredible impact with, remarkably, no real sign of any distortion. You have also managed the light here extremely well in a very fine composition with exquiiste depth of field and sharpness. I love the simplicity of the colours - the deep blue of the sky and its reflections in the windows contrast well with the pale colour of the stone facings and also the brown foreground shade.
A Stunning Photograph!

finally we get to see some of the Boston righ rise architecture up close and personal :)
I like that you used a slight angle and twist here, it's an easy way to avoid all the pitfalls of trying to centre in perfectly when faced directly onto it.
sweet light, lots of depth, lots of details and it packs a huge punch!
see you around
I just viewed the 2 photo's you posted for me at Fenway Park.
Sorry i missed them before.
I'll get to them tomorrow as i'm all out of my 20 critiques for the day.

beautiful building, modern and soaring; the type I dont get to see often and always have an appreication for. Great to read your note on the Big Dig too, I've seen reference to this in many US TV shows (for example, the project began 800 years ago and is still ongoing), so its nice to know that its near completion and has delivered on its promise. I can only imagine how brilliant it is to have this new green lung in the city centre, must be a joy for the residents.
Thanks as always

I tried counting the number of floors but I got lost when they were getting very small. It's a fairly high building anyway and your POV makes it look very impressive. The "folded" surface create a number of diagonal lines reaching for a distant common goal. The limited range of colors make a fine impression.

Ciao e buona serata.

The low viewpoint and looking upwards with a
wide angle lens creates with the diagonal
line a lots of depth (highness) and that
makes the picture extra exciting. Light
mangement and composition are als good.
