The 1957 Chevy is one of classic car enthusiasts favorite rods, and my Grandparents owned a new heliotrope colored one. In the 50s A & W Rootbeer was a very popular fast food place not only for its sodas, but the carhops.
This view is from the annual Ventura Classic Cars festival.
PS: This blonde carhop reminds me of my "first love", a gorgeous and intelligent a six foot two inch Barbie....

Here is very amazing combination a pink&black colors. Yes, this doll really has a Barbie proportions. I'd like to take this car from another point, but perhaps you did not have alternating PoV. Good contribution to the old timers theme.

Waitresses on roller skates! haha, this is something I've only ever seen in old US movies, certainly not a day to day scene, so nice to see its being remembered like this.
I love the cool angle you have chosen on this too, really looks the business.
all the best

Chevrolet really had something with those '55-'57 BelAirs, and this is a great example. Now, the carhop seems a little cold... hope your 6'2" Barbie was not as plastic as this one! ;-)
All my best,

To me, this photo has a lot going for it: First and foremost, it is of a car. How can anyone go wrong with such a classic car? Secondly, it's got pleasant reflections. An that tilting of the horizon adds a surprise element. Thanks for sharing this beauty!
