Not too far west of Scotts Bluff National Monument in Nebraska is this broken down farm. No doubt it is on private property but it was too good to pass up based on the time of day, lighting conditions and cloud formations.

Hi Gregory. Firstly, i have read again your profile page and again I chuckled at your rules, many of which I support 100% apart from sport and soft-drink choices. This grand old dame looks like a giant dinosaur keeling over in death. Powerful image of the end of days. Well taken under evocative light. Regards. Klaudio.

a nice frame with the broken farm house with a beautiful backdrop of sky. Yes, like the colours in the sky very much and they textures of broken wood element made it so dynamic. Great light and superb depth. You composed a nice one. I like it. Tfs.

You give us a brilliant composition.
We assist at the slow death of that house and we anticipate that the very well rendered materialof that house will give the next layer of sediment, the base for the next generations.
You picture have an impact on my mood, the proof that your picture is grzat.
Have a nice day,

Quel beau sujet et quelle belle manière de le mettre en valeur avant que la grange ne soit complètement sur le dos. J'aime la texture très spéciale de l'ensemble ainsi que la superbe luminosité de fin de journée.

Fantastic capture of detail and perspective. Wonderful colors and contrast. Your perspective is well suited to such a capture. So many of these old homesteads in the west speaking of a time of high hopes gone bust. Well done!
