A view from the south rim of the awesome Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona, USA. Yet another sad old tree stump that has a wonderful view of the colours and wonders of this amazing place.

Personally I like saturated images like this, but there are some that prefer lower saturation. Is that snow in the shadows? There was a bit of snow around when I went in November, but in September, it's probably just colouration in the rock, bottom left. The orange lichen covered rock on a diagonal provides excellent lead in lines & perspective. Tfs!

A beautiful composition , in this square format . Withouts sky , but with a closer view of the rocks and trees , and the canyon in he far . I like to see these colors and textures .

J'aime beaucoup ta composition en plusieurs plans donnant un bel effet 3D à cette photo de ce fantastique paysage. Les couleurs sont peut-être un tout petit peu trop saturées, pour moi en tout cas -)

Beautiful textures of both the wood and the rocks, together with your trademark strong colours really make this an eye-opener. Excellent depth allows us to see (actually my favourite element of the photo) those magnificent rock formations in the BG and the wonderful blue hue that contrasts so beautifully against the red rocks. Lovely place, lovely shot.
