Photographer's Note
Chaque petit bonheur passager est goûté pleinement lorsqu'il s'agit de meubler la solitude.
Happiness is getting satisfied with very little.

Bonjour Robert,
Meilleures salutations

Hi Robert,
The photo is a bit soft but the composition and the pov are superb. You have really caught the moment. I agree to some extent with the saying however I would probably put it: "Happiness is being satisfied with whatever you have!" or "Count your blessing" as they say here in the UK.
Very nice shot.
Thank you
Regards
Aleks

Hello Robert
Great picture with a fine choice of format. I like the soft colours too. And the hint of philosophy. The art of happiness.
A little touch of irony in the location: Saint Augustine, isn't he the sometimes rather oppressive saint of the roman-catholic doctrine?

Hello Robert,
really this man must be satisfied smoking his pipe, during his relaxing time on the pavement.I like the good reportage shot from the life of the city.

Looking carefully Robert, i don't think we have a case of a homeless person and/or a needy one: see his shoes, his back-pack on his left, coming to comprehand, first. your title is right, and he was just taken a rest, enjoy a cozy pipe puffs...
I'd crop most of upper "empty" space on the wall behind.
Best regards
Ike

Bonjour Robert,
Il me rappelle un peu l'époque hippie. Probablement qu'il pense que nous sommes encore au début des années 70.Les yeux fermés, je me demande à quoi il peut rêver.
Amicalement

Hello Robert,
This is a very nice shot where this man looks to be content with what he is doing at this moment. In this fast moving and stressful world, this man has found some time to relaax with a pipe in his mouth.I wonder whether it is a momentary happiness. Like the colors and his care for nothing expression.

Hi Robert,
The image could have been titled 'Happiness Untold'.The elderly person seems to be enjoying his Pipe with some kind of an orgasmic pleasure, which I presume remains untold.Lovely image, bit of cropping on the top could have made it look a bit more better.
