Photographer's Note

A carousel (from French carrousel, from Italian carosello), or merry-go-round, is an amusement ride consisting of a rotating circular platform with seats for riders. The "seats" are traditionally in the form of rows of wooden horses or other animals mounted on posts, many of which are moved up and down via gearwork to simulate galloping, to the accompaniment of looped circus music. This leads to one of the alternative names, the galloper. Other popular names are roundabout and flying horses. (From Wikipedia)

I like the title, Eleu, fantasy it is.
Good light upon, contrast of the different colors on white and the bulbs not too flickering.

Hello Eleu - A trip down memory lane, as a child I was passionately fond of the "ginny horses" as we called them. Why ginny horse? I had no idea but I just Googled the term and found that the same engine that worked the cotton gin propelled these wonderful horses! Gorgeous colours and a shot that cheers the heart! I always think these horses look a bit scary with their flaring nostrils and open mouth!

Oh yes, this photo brings back some happy memories from childhood. These horses are beautifully decorated and the photo demonstrates the art superbly. Excellent close-up, good sharpness and great colours.
