Photographer's Note
Where is this place?
The names of the Americans who died in the 9/11 attack - including the Twin Tower building occupants and the brave firefighters and policemen who fearlessly rushed into the tower minutes before it crashed - are engraved in stone at the North and South pools of the 9/11 Memorial park.
I chanced upon this rose left by someone - who may be a loved one of one of the victims, who knows?
In the end, we remember each and everyone...hapless victims of a cruel act.
This photo was taken during our family trip to the US east coast last year (2011).

HI Boyet,
I like the idea to focus on the left rose to symbolize the memory for the lost ones.
colours and sharpness are also OK

Hello Boyet,
This is a very moving photo, with a wonderful POV. I like the focus on the rose, with a hint of the activity in the background. The tilt also works very well.
