Photographer’s Note
Willow trees are fairly common in the Anchorage area. Some have grown burls that can take on interesting or even bizarre shapes. I happened to spot this one along the road as I was taking a stretch.

Nice texture and DOF. I would try cropping out some on the left side or even better if you had some of the background on the right it would balance a little better for my preference.
But... that is just my oppinion. You have a gold star and many points, I don't. I would rather get a variety of feedback than none or all positive.

It is a wooden sculpture of ethoreau´s "Ewe" shot, I think. Well seen and captured.
