Photographer's Note
This winter I have been driving by this location from work awaiting the return of blue skies and good light, whatever showed first this year with the crazy weather patterns we have been experiencing, as I drove here yesterday morning to look at what I hoped to be new buds on the trees, I was surprised that everything I had hoped had finally arrived. So I drove back on the other side of the hills from where I live and captured this shot near sunset. I know the window could have been straightened, but when you do this you loose the mystery of what lies to the dark side of the left of the house. All important in this scene were the beautiful branches of the trees, the test was to balance the scene while including the house and yet emphasizing the trees in the scene.
I took this with a Nikon D 90, at 35mm and F22, at 1 second utilizing a polorizer and a Neutral Gray Grad 2 and at a -1.3 Ev.
Happy Easter Everyone
