Series on my trip to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - NORTH AMERICA - Visiting SAN FRANCISCO (CALIFORNIA) and LAKE TAHOE (CALIFORNIA/NEVADA) - From February 1st to February 19th, 2011 - #001!

HEAVENLY (I) !

Following my aim of skiing in many places all over the World, last year I decided I'd like to ski in the LAKE TAHOE AREA (in the border of the States of CALIFORNIA and NEVADA, in the SIERRA NEVADA/USA)! By doing so, I'd visit one of the most beautiful mountain regions in North America and also one of the most beautiful cities in the World: SAN FRANCISCO!

Flying SÃO PAULO-NEW YORK-SAN FRANCISCO-RENO (some minor changes while doing that), this was the first entire trip I planned and arranged all by myself and using internet only (flights, buses & hotels)!

This picture was taken from one of the highest points of HEAVENLY SKI RESORT, located in the small city of SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, in the border of the States of CALIFORNIA and NEVADA!

It was also taken during my 5th and last day of ski in that place!

Wow, you went to California this time! I am looking forward to seeing many pictures from there. so there is snow in California?? I wouldn't suppose so. beautiful photo.

A very attractive view over the lake nicely framed by the fir trees. The image has good light, colours and sharpness and is very well presented.

a minha primeira surpresa (não de hoje, é claro) foi ver esta linda paisagem, de uma região que eu desconhecia. a segunda foi que é a sua primeira viagem planejada by neyvan. afinal, vc ia em tours programados nas últimas férias ? eu sempre achava que vc ia sozinho. eu prefiro fazer minhas próprias pesquisas e viajar de acordo com meus projetos, a viagem acaba tendo um sabor melhor e a gente vê o que realmente gosta, mas é claro, dá muito mais trabalho e sempre há um componente de risco.
linda a foto, que eu já havia visto no FB, gosto muito das cores e das árvores servindo como moldura e apoio para o fundo da compo. lindo lugar, linda foto, parabéns

Que vista maravilhosa Ney,

lindas cores nas árvores e otima nitidez até as belas montanhas ao fundo. Um ótimo enquadramento entre as árvores (que me lembram nossas araucárias) com o lago a direita em equilíbrio com a neve e tapete verde a esquerda.

Salut Neyvan,
Superbe pov avec cette vue bien encadrée par ces deux arbres, cla dirige le regard vers ce magnifique paysage enneigé, belle côte et montagnes, la luminosité est excellente pour donner un joli résultat.

Bonjour Neyvan,
Les deux arbres encadrent une très belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes. La lumière est parfaite pour donner de l'éclat aux bleus de l'eau et du ciel.
