Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I never ceased to be surprised by what I discovered (photographically speaking) in New York.

I could only assume that this array of sunken posts, emanating from the the water's edge in Lower Manhatten, had once been a pier; but there were so many posts!

If anyone can tell me the origins of this structure and solve the puzzle, I would be very grateful.

Whatever the purpose, I couldn't help but be excited by the photographic opportunity, to get down low, and use them as guide towards the iconic skyline in the distance.

I hope you enjoy it, too, Bev :-)
