Photographer’s Note

Fireworks at downtown Pittsburgh. This was a firework after a Pirates baseball game. The Pirates' baseball stadium (PNC Park) is to the left of the fireworks (surrounded by blue lights). The photograph was taken from the hill overlooking the downtown are called "Mount Washington". The fountain is at the "Point park", a.k.a. "The Point". This is where two rivers, Allegheny on top and Monangehela on the bottom of the picture, come together and form the Ohio River.

Great firework shot, the colours are great, the fireworks amongst the buildings is lovely, maybe you could have used a little longer exposure time to get more from the bright lights of the city, Good work!

Nice picture with a wide view. It's very hard to get firework on a picture, but here it's very sharp. Good pov as well!

That's a beautiful shot ! That's what photographie is all about, managing light and you go it here in so many details, sparkling light in all colors. Excellent POV and composition also !

Fantastic fireworks Cagatay,
very nice nightshot, I have try it before to made a shot of a firework and I know how differcult it is, so this capture is great, fantastic colours, very good depth, very good job, I like it really, have good days with your family.

Well done Yanar. This is the perferct firework shot which I still am still waiting for the chance for me to take too. The composition and moment of the firework are very good.

I love it, there's so much going on in the scene, yet it doesn't feel overcrowded - a very difficult exposure to nail in this scene and you got it.
