Photographer’s Note
Another from Sumter. I have worked, reworked, deleted, and reworked this shot to get it where I wanted it without too seriously deep shadows or blown highlights. I love the view. The way it came in from the corners to the far point in the distance. You can't really see it, but there's a small covered bridge down at the other end of the lake. I don't know. if anyone can tell me how I might have fixed this, I'd sure appreciate it. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Shelly,
The sharpness is really impressive. Did you change your camera or what? The quality of the picture is much better and improved from your past photos. It looks so clear, pure and neat in my screen! The reflection on the water is very good as well as the point of view. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful.
Best regards
Denis!

Hello Shelly!
It's a lovely, pleasant and truly beautiful picture!
Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and colors are really excellent! The pov couldn't be better and the composition is effective and attractive! I specially like this wonderful symmetrical reflection!

Hi Shelly,
How are you? Always it is a pleasure to see such a beautiful lake, with the Bald Cypress, or Swamp Cypress (Taxodium distichum) growing there. Splendid reflection and peaceful mood.

Hello Shelly ,
Another great composition in this place ! The reflections and tonalities are superb . The effect of the diagonal is excellent . The two trees in the left are outstanding , too .

Hi Shelly
Excellent PP to allow the details in shadow to show. Nicely composed with the stonework to the right to lead the eye in and the two trees on the left that hold the eye in the frame. Good DOF and clarity. You picked the right aperture to take advantage of the lens's sweet spot. As for the bridge I think it is too far away to really do anything about from this POV.
Well done

Hi Shelly,
A very nice nature photo. Interesting to see the trees on the left standing in the water.
Good compo with the stones in front and the perspective effect on the lake by the narrowing trees to the end of the lake. Good colors as well.
Thanks for sharing,
Harko

Hi Shelly,
beautiful place and lake here, with good colors, details and contrast. There really is a terrible performance of digital sensors in the dynamic range and would be a palliative or a graduated density filter or HDR capture, and only, but shooting in RAW will help. Great job and sorry for my bad english...

Lucas

Hello Shelly,
Indeed a very pretty work on the image, I like much, in particular this good clearness which emphasizes the beauty of the lake. I appreciate also the beautiful balance of the image due to your framing. I do not know if the walk in the dugout is authorized, but that must be a true pleasure. Thank you Shelly.
With all my friendships and a very good WE,
Jean-Charles
