This is a shot taken at Monolake not far from Yosemite National Park.

Located in California's spectacular Eastern Sierra, Mono Lake is an oasis in the dry Great Basin and a vital habitat for millions of migratory and nesting birds.

Bonjour Laurent, jolie prise qui grace a la bonne lumiere et au calme de l'eau permet de materialiser une tres belle reflection, bonne profondeur de champ egalement et belles couleurs, il eut peut etre ete juducieux d'agrandir un peu le champ, pour inclure la totalite de ce rocher; Bon choix du format vertical.

Oh - our local TV-station just seen that movie :-) A fine mix of nature and humour - which I like that combination and practice when myself whenever I'm lucky to spot some.

Also a great nature shot with a strong sharp foreground and an facinating background - Thanks for sharing Laurent - not many (actully none) mountains around here.

Good composition, the front had a great texture, good sharp, good light and contrast, good colour in photo, fine refelextion, and the beautiful bacgground.

I like the composition here. Excellent depth of field. Only gripe is that it could be sharper, apart from that i think this is a great photo.

Jolis reflets et belle profondeur de champs pour cette composition Laurent. La palette de couleurs est très agréable. Bonne lumière, la photo est bien exposée, bravo !

Superbe vue , la lumiere est tres belle et le cadrage parfait , beau travail .

A cet endroit, comme à d'autres lors de ce voyage dans l'ouest américain, mon ancien appareil m'a laché... Je suis donc heureux de revoir cette endroit qui m'a aussi impressionné.
J'aime bien le cadrage avec le reflet et le goéland. Très bien vu.
PS: Monolake ne se trouve pas dans le parc de Yosemite mais plutôt sur la localité de Lee Vining
