Photographer’s Note

I know that an armoured fighting vehicle isn't a nice view, but unfortunatelly it belongs to the real world.
It's a photo of my files that I find appropriate to celebrate the withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi cities, beginning today.
Six years after the US invasion, maybe more than one million people were killed (including more than 4,300 US troops) [_*_].
According to AFP news, President Barack Obama hailed the withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi towns and cities as an "important milestone." And a careful White House also declined to declare victory [_*_].
This picture was taken during the Miramar Airshow 2005 in the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, California. The tank is one of the military vehicles that returned from missions in Iraq and were presented in the airshow. I guess it is a M1 Abrams (but I'm not sure, I'm not an expert). See them in Iraq in a Wikimedia picture.
See also my other pictures of that airshow, more humorous ones: Pretzels Hawker, and I'm the best one.

Vê outras fotos, mais humorísticas, do airshow: Pretzels Hawker e também I'm the best one.
