Photographer’s Note

This is the hiking trail at Gedney Park in New Castle New York.

One of New Castle’s largest parks, 126 acres of extremely varied topography, with fields, wetlands, a manmade pond (created in 1971 out of a marshy area) and Gedney Brook which flows into pond in valley in the park created by two ridges. Streams, rock walls, steep rocky woodlands and sloping and level woodlands. Road system connects different park areas.

Simple composition, but beautiful nevertheless. The balance of colors and elements was perfect. Very artistic, in my opinion. Great framing, too. Congratulations.

Hi Angela,
Yet another really nice nature shot, nothing spectacular, but just pure wonderful nature. Good use of the trail to lead us in and the fence is really a significant element focus point that also leads the viewers into the woodland. good light and beautiful and natural colors. Thanks

Il manque quelque chose à cette image ! Le chemin mène sur quoi ? On aimerait le découvrir et on reste un peu sur notre faim ! Ta photo manque de point d'acroche et de point d'intérêt ! je suis sûr que tu peux faire mieux !!

Hi Angela,
The moss stained old wooden fence makes a very effective lead-in to this richly textured look into the woods.
Excellent sharpness and clear ture color to this fine work.
