Photographer’s Note
Sadly, nothing rots away in the desert. There is a lot of junk and trash on the side of the road. I thought this a nice juxtaposition to the beautiful landscape.
Thanks for looking, TW

beautiful!
hi Tim, you chose an unusual subject for this pic, and this is just its strenght: something unusual (I mean, something we don't use to photograph usually) in the middle of this wonderful nowhere. As you said correctly, nothing rots away in the desert: human ignorance, for example.
TFS, have a nice day!

Hey Tim
Interesting previsualizatio and well executed..you could go lower and get more of the textures of the tyre and the red mountains in the BG..
But this one works as well
Cheers

More evidence of alien visitation - as if any were needed!
I share this little obsession of including trash in otherwise beautiful landscapes - something my partner frowns upon when she sees me peering at a discarded bottle, tin or sweet wrapper. Mostly, I keep them to myself - thus far.

Hello Tim,
You brought an interesting but flat landscape to life by including this derelict tyre. Can only be a view from SW America!
Well done.

Hi Tim
It's hard to believe people leave their trash around like this but it does tell a story and it provides an interesting FG. At first I thought it was a snake skin.
