At Honolulu airport on 13 April 2009, a Jetstar A330-200 prepares for its 11 hour trans-pacific flight to Sydney.
And I was on it!
I paid US$570 for a return ticket - but the age of low cost travel comes at a price - 11 hours of uncomfortable and cramped conditions!
Got a nasty roof shadow happening here as well. It was about 8.30am in the morning.
I thought about cropping the shadow out, but decided to leave it as the loading of the plane was a key component of this picture. It was about 30 minutes before push-back and loading was in full swing.
PS. Hawaii was great!

you're right leaving the shadows as the loading is a key component in this case and it gives a sense of motion to the composition. I think if Hawaii was great than 11 hours of unconformable conditions can be taken into account ;-)

A cool shot of a great bird. It would have been nice to have a little blur with the loaders to catch some motion...just my 2 cents.
I know of someone who also took JetStar to KIX, and she complained of the same thing you did! I've taken a NWA A330 to SEA, and it was actually pretty comfy.
