Photographer's Note
Been a while since I've posted. Here's one I took from the plane on the way to Las Vegas. Lake Mead is not a true lake, but was formed by the damming of the Colorado River. It runs through the desert lands at the foot of the Colorado Plateau and is surrounded by some spectacular landscape, called the Valley of Fire.

Hi Eva
This is pretty spectacular having the deep blue water contrasting so heavily with the dry desertscape. The texture of the land is pretty amazing too.

Hi Eva, I like aerial photos showing the various types of geomorphology and landforms such as this. I saw a documentary on the making of the dam here, so it is most interesting. Good earthy tones. TFS. Murray.

Hey Eva,
I love aerials. They give a better perspective than we`ll ever get on the ground. This one is pretty neat, with strong colors, perhaps just a tad too strong, but that`s a matter of taste. In any case, the scenery is out of this world.
Best regards.
