Photographer’s Note
Here's the winter runoff going over the Spokane falls, This not the full run when does happen you can see a lot of mist coming up were I'm taking is from the Monroe street bridge. This one off the shots I took earlier this year with my Polaroid. In this shot is the Post street, WWP power plant off to the right below to the right is a small park.
From Wikipedia.org.
Spokane Falls is the name of the series of waterfalls and dams on the Spokane River in downtown Spokane, Washington.
The falls consists of an Upper Falls and a Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is the site of the Upper Falls Dam, a diversion dam constructed in 1920 that directs the water into the Upper Falls intake on the south channel of the Spokane River. The Upper Falls Power Plant incorporates a Francis turbine capable of generating 10 MW.
The Lower Falls is the site of a second diversion dam, the Monroe Street Dam. Completed in 1890, it was the first dam built on the Spokane River and is currently the longest-running hydroelectric generation facility in Washington State. Its Kaplan turbine has a generating capacity of 14.82 MW.

Hi, Jason.
We're neighbors today, COOL! Angle and shadowplay are pretty impressive, and the location speaks for itself. Most certainly NOT one of those I'd like to raft in... I'm off with doggie and later on to work. Have a good night, I'll be seeing you.

Hey Jason,
At first I didn't particularly like the shadow, but when i took a good look and realized that its the bridge that you are standing on I loved it.
There is something amazing about a photograph and the interplay from what the photographer sees and exactly where they are in reference to their shot. Thats what this is.

Bonjour Jason
Un joli portrait avec des couleurs bien saturées. Tu as su jouer avec l'ombre et la lumière. Le mouvement de la chute est bien saisi.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

Hi Jason,
Wow, what a torrent, and you say it will get stronger, yikes.
Good POV, except that I have to disagree with an earlier comment, I don't think your shadow in shot adds to the frame. I find myself looking at the shadow and not taking in this dramatic and powerful image.
Love the way you've used the light coming through the arch to accentuate the white water in foreground, superb.
One thing I've noticed in the last couple of days on TE, images don't look as bright as they do before posting, I was going to comment on how dark the large building on the right looks, opened the shot in PS and it looked fine, weird eh!!!
Top shot my friend, bloody brilliant.
Cheers

Hello Jason,
An image rich in various details well collected but I like especially the very impresive FG with this water and the very nice play of shade. Good work!
Best regards,

Hi Jason,
You best give your darling wife a big hug for your new equipment.
The colors here are first rate and the broad shadow renders some really interesting tones and textures to the powerful falls.
Wonderful contrast between the wild river and the downtown backdrop.
Very interesting note about this unique falls.

Hi Jason. There is an impressive amount of water flowing over the falls, very spectacular. Nice catch. Good handling of light and well composed. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jason, I love the way you have nuanced the sunlight and the way you have captured it as it falls on those menacing looking waters! Nice composition friend

Hello Jason!
Excellent viewpoint and great composition!
Adequate sharpness and very good exposure! The falls in the middle of an urban area is pretty interesting and your photo has truly enhanced its beauty by placing all the elements in good positions in this image! I really like it!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,

Jason, this is a good shot, the power of the river is readily apparent. The bridge shadow over the fall is an interesting effect though I am honestly not sure if I like it covering that much of the white water, but the angles in the composition work well. Superb post
