Photographer’s Note

This is a view from my room's window, at The Palazzo Hotel, to the windows of Wynn Hotel, where there are some reflections from the crazy city of Las Vegas. It was late afternoon, so the lights help a little bit, enhanced by the golden windows. Hope you like it.

Amazing what you can see when you have an eye for a shot. Great looking reflection, the horizontal lines create a very graphic looking scene, so too the reflections, quite fantastic.
The golden desert light is the icing on the cake, well spotted and captured.
Las Vegas eh, I hope you still have your shirt.

love the shot, the golden light creates an impression that the whole city outside your window is made of this precious metal, and therefore you get bars on the windows :) nice, really nice, I've always enjoyed creative abstractions of most mundane things.

Olá Zeca,
O efeito gráfico dessa foto ficou ótimo. As linhas brancas foram retratadas em cores tão sólidas e de modo tão simétrico que até parecem desenho vetorial. Os reflexos, que são o centro de interesse, parecem uma imagem após aplicação de um filtro ripple, ou coisa parecida, no ps. Agradável e criativo.

so, you think, after the 400th, you can 'slow down', m? ;)) just kidding. the gold reflection here is quite symbolic of the sin-city. i wish the architect of Wynn hotel had not used those white dividing lines (floors) in the fasade though...

Amazing POV, wow, I love the distortion of the view made by the window, kind of like reflection of water yet not, we can see the city, but in a distorted way. The graphical line and pattern are so great in details and the light is the thing that made this shot more special. Thanks

beleza de grafismo. Nada melhor do que esse momento com a luz dourada e o ângulo acertado com essas linhas horizontais e o reflexo distorcido dessa (você disse bem) maluca cidade. Um belo trabalho, mas você está devendo mais desses cantos, né? :) Uma foto que gostaria de ter tirado e da chegada à cidade. Fiquei um tempão prá acreditar como conseguiram fazer brotar do nada, no meio da secura do deserto.

Dreamy, futuristic, other-wordly...many impressions come to me. The golden tones and the light are superb. Somehow I wish those lines weren't there, but then again, they add to the most special mood. Of something rather mundane, you created magic.

isso aqui e a sua unica imagem da sua viagem aos EUA? Nao e que ficou boa - ficou fantastica, mas deve ser meio frustrante em ter feito toda essa viagem para se retornar com uma unica imagem ...
Gostei muito deste elemento abstrato com o crop dando as linhas brancas uma sensacao de dinamismo. Os refelxos dourados sao demais de belos. A imagem e tao classica que eu reconheci o Hotel Wynn ja no thumbnail.

The reflections are crazy indeed...at first glance it appears like an image of a seismograph, with small waves & then suddenly a tall one! The golden colours are wonderful. A fine abstract effect created by the reflections & a joy to watch my friend!
