Photographer's Note
On an sixteen day trip around the Four Corners area in south west USA it seemed these birds were everywhere. Never in flocks, always solitary and somewhat shy. This one was willing to pose though.

A pin sharp raven at that, nice colours, good DOF, nicely blurred back ground, though the bottom is a bit burned out, that could probably be fixed in photoshop. I really like the blue tints to the feathers, and that dragged through a thornbush backwards look.

Excellente image bien nette, le sujet principal a bien été cadré, isolé du fond.
Excellent quite clear image, the principal subject indeed was tallied, isolated from the bottom. Very well done !

Good work here, nicely framed, neat DOF and sharpness on the raven. He almost stands like an eagle.

Sorry, but only positive comments, John! This raven jumps out of the screen, due to your perfect DOF and exposure. Colors and details are sharp, and you've got really well this glimpse in the eye, not always easy to catch. One of my favorites.
