Photographer’s Note
On the second last day of 2008, I took a trip on the Staten Island ferry.
It was bitterly cold, although not an unpleasant trip.
Here is a vessel heading in the opposite direction that was passed on-route.
I suppose with ships you deal mostly in photographing horizontal shapes, so I cropped out a lot of the sky above (which I thought did not add anything overall to the scene).
